The City of West Hollywood has put new life into the last motel remaining on historic Route 66. The former Holloway Motel will be converted into interim housing to support people experiencing homelessness. What once was a symbol of making it to Hollywood, will now be a haven to find help and resources.
The City of West Hollywood partnered with The Pollack Group to shine light on this important story and bring awareness to the West Hollywood Homeless Initiative. The Holloway Interim Housing Program will provide a safe and supportive space for people experiencing homelessness for up to 90 days, offering valuable resources and case management services to help them transition into housing.
The renovation process will take several months, so The Pollack Group proposed a broadcast media exclusive to share new renderings, capitalize on a key project milestone, shape the narrative, and celebrate a massive step forward in the City’s efforts to address homelessness. KTLA’s Gayle Anderson joined The Pollack Group and project representatives onsite to highlight the various components of this project. Four dedicated segments totaling over 16 minutes of airtime on one of LA’s most-watched stations focused on The Holloway Motel and homelessness initiatives.
