This could be our first look at the packaging for Apple’s new titanium credit card – Business Insider

Apple is adding “Apple Card” to its offerings, and this could be the first look. The credit card is expected to launch in late summer, but Apple employees have already had an opportunity to test it out. Apple Card is partnering with Goldman Sachs incorporating a digital and physical component to the credit card. The card is built into the iPhone’s Wallet app, but will also be offered as a titanium credit card for people to use in locations where Apple Pay isn’t accepted.

Taco Bell Reveals the First Photos of Its Palm Springs Resort—and They’re Very on Brand – Adweek

The first peek inside the highly anticipated Taco Bell pop-up hotel in Southern California is here. The branded hotel is temporarily taking over the V Palm Springs hotel, offering 70 rooms from August 8 to August 12 for $169 per night. The hotel will feature a “Freeze Lounge” inspired by Taco Bell’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast drink where guests can enjoy antifreeze-colored slushies. Other amusements will include “dive-in movies” and musical performances participating in the chain’s “Feed the Beat” food-for-touring-bands program, as well as taco-themed nail art.

Florida newsrooms band together to cover the effects of climate change – Tampa Bay Times

Media companies are joining together to bring attention to an important issue: climate change. The Tampa Bay Times will be one of six media outlets to share stories about the matter and collaborate on joint projects. Areas the media partnership will investigate include: the dangers of increasingly destructive hurricanes, the effects on native species, and the impacts on the economy. The publications will also explore what lies ahead for coastal towns and cities exposed to rising sea levels.

Restaurants, murals, shops, streets – you name it – have become places for Instagram worthy shots. A new app, called Depalo, wants to help Instagram influencers and users find social-media hot spots. The app shows users the GPS coordinates for Instagram-worthy locations in different cities. It’s designed to help people who make money off their social posts to find unique and Instagram friendly places while traveling.
