The
agency announced that Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel and Luxe Rodeo
Drive Hotel would become the first hotels in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills,
respectively, to accept popular Chinese mobile payment systems, WeChat Pay and
Alipay, starting in December. This was made possible through a partnership with
CITCON. The agency secured an exclusive
placement with The Los Angeles Times and several additional outlets. The
ability for Luxe Hotels to accept these forms of payment, with a combined 1.4
billion users, is sure to draw Chinese travelers to the hotel.
