Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country. With more than 4.8 million Americans playing and celebrities like Tom Brady and LeBron James buying pro teams, media interest is at an all-time high. USA Pickleball, the national governing body for the sport, wanted to capitalize on this opportunity and invite Southern California-based media and social media microinfluencers to attend Media Day on November 9 at the 2022 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships, which took place from November 5 – 12 at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

The agency secured multi-day coverage and broadcast hits from outlets including the Desert Sun, KESQ, and NBC Palm Springs. The resulting coverage, including syndication, totaled more than 3.5 billion impressions. The influencers, who also received media day access, enthusiastically created more than 40 pieces of content across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, sharing their adventures with more than 138,000 followers combined.
