Client LegalShield paid tribute to founder and longtime CEO and Chairman Harland C. Stonecipher at its fourth annual Founder’s Day celebration by honoring civic leaders who share his mission to help the community and foster entrepreneurship.
The brunch, held at the State Capitol, recognized two local civic leaders: Oklahoma City Thunder General Manager Sam Presti, who champions the pursuit of free enterprise, and Innocence Project Executive Director Vicky Behenna, who strives for equal access to justice. Former Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett introduced Presti at the event, while DeMarchoe Carpenter, an Innocence Project exoneree, introduced Behenna. Attendees included Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter and former Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Turpen.
