The Pollack Group’s (TPG) Noemi Pollack Scholarship is now open for the 2020/2021 academic year, which annually awards a partial tuition scholarship to an undergraduate student pursuing a major or minor in public relations at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
Noemi founded TPG 35 years ago, with a vision to create an agency that would help clients connect emotionally with people, offer a no-nonsense approach to communication and cultivate meaningful relationships. For over three decades, the agency has witnessed some of the most accelerated changes in the industry and has responded with flexible approaches – expanding into an integrated marketing firm. The agency continues to remain trailblazers in the industry staying true to its founding vision and will continue to do so in the years to come.
With a nod to Noemi’s passion for educating the next generation, The Pollack Group established the Noemi Pollack Scholarship to support a student studying Public Relations at USC Annenberg. In the Spring of 2020, Amanda Brunak was named the first undergraduate recipient of the Noemi Pollack Scholarship. The scholarship not only added another reason to celebrate Amanda’s many successes in her academic career but helped continue her goal of becoming a more effective communicator and authentic storyteller.
“We are deeply gratified to have made a significant impact on Amanda’s education and future career path,” said Noemi Pollack. “To make an impression on a student’s life is truly rewarding. Knowing this scholarship supports future public relations and marketing professionals in their endeavors, is something we’ve always strived for as an agency.”
The merit-based tuition scholarship is awarded on an academic year basis to a student who is actively participating in the important research and operations of the USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations. Applicants must be an undergraduate student pursuing a major or minor in public relations at USC Annenberg in 2020-2021 with a 3.0 GPA or above. The application deadline is May 3, 2020.
The Pollack Group created the Noemi Pollack Scholarship in honor of its CEO and founder and to mark the agency’s 35th anniversary in March 2020.
