In celebration of our 40th anniversary, we are proud to announce The Valerie Fund as the recipient of our 2025 Big Red Grant, awarded to an organization whose mission reflects purpose, compassion, and lasting impact.

We were humbled by the volume of powerful applications we received. Each organization is doing transformative work, which made our decision anything but easy. But one mission rose above, not only because of what they do, but because of the why behind it. The Valerie Fund stood out in a way that moved us deeply.

The Valerie Fund: A Legacy of Care and Community

For nearly 50 years, The Valerie Fund has been a lifeline for families going through what no one should have to face. It was started in memory of Valerie Goldstein, a brave nine-year-old who lost her fight with cancer. Her parents, Ed and Sue, wanted to make sure that no family would ever have to walk that path alone. Today, The Valerie Fund helps over 6,000 children each year, offering medical, emotional, and social support across eight treatment centers in New Jersey, New York, and the Philadelphia area.

Amplifying Impact Through the Big Red Grant

At The Pollack Group (TPG), we know that even the most important work needs to be seen, heard, and felt. That’s the power of communications, and that’s where the Big Red Grant comes in. As this year’s recipient, The Valerie Fund will receive pro-bono PR and marketing support from our team to ensure their story reaches those who need it most.

“We’re honored to support The Valerie Fund through the Big Red Grant and help amplify their mission,” said Stefan Pollack, President and CFO of The Pollack Group. “At its core, our Big Red Grant is about using storytelling to build momentum and spark meaningful change. We look forward to helping The Valerie Fund deepen its reach and drive even greater impact.”

Building Momentum for a Major Milestone

As TPG celebrates 40 years and The Valerie Fund approaches its 50th anniversary next year, this partnership marks a powerful alignment of purpose and progress. Together, we’ll craft a compelling narrative that honors the past, celebrates the present, and accelerates the future. Because real change happens when missions connect. When purpose drives partnership. And when stories have the power to move people to act.

Purpose-Driven Partnerships for Lasting Change

This milestone collaboration is more than symbolic — it’s a renewed commitment to the values we hold dear: impact, integrity, and innovation. At TPG, we work with iconic global brands, ambitious new challengers, and regional mainstays, all united by a common goal: to make a positive impact on people’s lives and livelihoods. We understand the human issues that help clients connect authentically with their audiences and the media, and we bring that same insight and energy to every partnership.

“As we look ahead, we’re energized to help The Valerie Fund continue its extraordinary journey. And to the many inspiring organizations who applied, your work matters deeply, and we’re cheering you on,” added Pollack.

Here’s to the next chapter — for all of us.
