Worldcom Public Relations Group launched a new online tool
this week that offers a self-assessment of any company’s or brand’s communications program. Through a series of strategically specific questions,
the online tool can help anyone
leading or managing a communications effort, identify the strength and
weaknesses of a company’s communications efforts.
In particular, the tool provides companies the opportunity
to assess their current situation in ten areas essential for effective
communications, which can include such topics as Crisis Communications, Social
Media Strategy, Employee Engagement, and more. Subsequently, it a provides a quick, objective analysis of their
communications program and produces a score, which can also
prompt the respondent to identify an improvement target.
The performance tool is the first of a series of similar
tools, earmarked to offer objective analysis of communication programs.

Worldcom’s
announcement.
